How to use Google Analytics to Improve your SEO

However, if you link your Google Analytics account with Google Search Console, then it can be used as a powerful tool for improving your standing in search engines.

Google no longer displays every query that provides traffic to your website but viewing the queries here is a great way to see some of the keywords that are. You may see keywords here that you were previously unaware of. These could be long-tail or low traffic keywords that you otherwise never would have thought of targeting. You can write blog posts or better optimise your website to target these phrases.

Not sure where your traffic is landing on your website? This section of Analytics will show you how many impressions & clicks you are getting to specific pages. It's a great way to see what pages on your website are the most popular and are fueling your traffic. You can make optimisation changes to those pages to increase your rankings and get more traffic.
